Laminated white plastic slide and cursor runners on front top and bottom edges with mitred corners. Four end mounted steel springs in the slide groove of the top runner to tension the slide. White plastic protection pieces attached to the front and back of the bottom of the pane. Two end mounted steel springs attached to inside top of guide. Single centre full length broken hairline for 'front' and 'back' scales, labelled "kw" on the 'front' A scale and "d" on the 'front' D scale. Two short non-equidistant hairlines for 'front' A & B scales, left of centre labelled "q", right of centre labelled "PS". Two short non-equidistant hairlines for 'front' C & C scales, left of centre labelled "kW", right of centre labelled "PS".
