Stock:

Upper and lower rails of stock joined by wooden straps at each end, front and back (total 4).
Each strap features a cut-out for accessing recessed grips in slide.
Front and back faced with plastic.
On back of upper rail inside of right hand strap is a slide lock (DRGM 1864929, 1963) for use in transport.
At the top left and right hand ends are metal hanging brackets, hinged and with a clasp allowing both sides of the rule to be demonstrated without the need to remove the rule from its position.
